Symphonic Noise Cult
Behind The Curtain
"Behind The Curtain" reflects the different backgrounds of the musicians. While the foundation of most compositions is firmly placed in the dark dance scene, thanks to the decades of experience of Winus Rilinger who, besides being the driving force behind the german cult act The Eternal Afflict, produced and added music to a varity of popular dark acts like Inside (TEA & Psyche), Form Follows Function, Stücker & Benecke, Sara Noxx and more. The renowed pianist and soundtrack composer Ulrich A. Beutgen added a classical touch to these tracks, making them listenable outside of the dancefloor. And finally the rock-influenced voice of Scott Mick, full of passion, desperation, delusion and hope. His lyrics add another depth to SNCs music that actually makes you listen closely. They were already compared to big names but we leave it up to your own imagination how you would define their sound. Its not an easy task, each songs is an universe of its own.

in their own words: "SymphonicNoiseCult, is a departure from what fans usually
think of, when they hear the names associated to the band. It's more of a gut
feeling going in , as to where their creativity met in the middle and melded
into the band they call SymphonicNoiseCult. Winus Rilinger is best known for
electronic music and the success of The Eternal Afflict. Ulrich Beutgen is an
accomplished soundtrack composer and veteran musician in his own right and Scott
is a singer that had his own Band in detroit, P. o. P. that was a mix of different
genres so it was hard to classify the sound. When he was asked to go on Tour
with a tribute to Itchy and the music of Shock Therapy In Germany, he's jumped
at the opportunity. And in the process, meeting Winus, and things started to
fall into place for SymphonicNoiseCult. Ulrich joined and the three of them
have been creating non stop ever since. This album "Behind the curtain" is from
the fruits of those efforts. We hope you enjoy."

THE 15th FLOOR
After their impressive debut album (which was preceded by a row of critically acclaimed 12" releases), Parade Ground recorded material for their follow up album in 1989. But this album was shelved and only a few tracks of these recordings showed up until 2012 when the main album "The 15th Floor" was finally released on vinyl. In the same year "A Room With A View" was released (on vinyl, tape and CD), which contained 4 tracks from these sessions, which were not included on the "The 15th Floor" vinyl. With the release of the "The 15th Floor" CD finally all tracks of the main album are available on CD (most for the first time), including one unreleased mix of "A Day At The Park".

lost music from 1997 rediscovered . all acoustic guitar and devices . remastered
november 2013 . these ten pieces are untitled
"Somewhere in the mid-90s there was a lot of noise played by solo guitarists.
I thought it would be nice to do a bit of ambient music on a solo guitar, but
as I can't play the guitar (still can't) I had a mechanical device to play the
strings, plus a few sound effects. Retroactively i can say it was a tribute
to Remko Scha, but then the poor man's version of guitars played by ropes and
strings? I recorded a whole bunch of music, and as it turns out not all as ambient
I had planned. In 2005 I recorded by final three pieces using a four string
guitar I bought for 1 euro on the flea market. The mission, if it was such a
thing, had run it's course and it's time to move on. I thought pretty much everything
I ever recorded as Shifts was released, save a few try-out pieces and rehearsals
for the few concerts I did, but a couple of years ago Maneki Neko approached
me about a demo I sent them with some music I had recorded in 1997, also using
acoustic guitar and devices. I had forgotten all about it, as it was labelled
as 'session 1997' on my hard drive when I made a back-up of all my old tapes.
Oh well. Now is a good time as any other to release these ten untitled pieces.
It's not always possible to recognize the acoustic guitar but it is surely the
classic Shifts approach to minimalist sound treatments, sometimes loud and most

is the work of swedish occultist and sound artist Michael Idehall.
A journey into the depths of the esoteric foundations, mixing dark ambient with
death industrial and adding relaxed rhythms and conjuring vocals. Ritual music
for the techno trance pilgrim. Often compared to big names like Coil, Psychic
TV, Hybryds and Haus Arafna, Michael Idehall found his own style and continues
to evolve it.
Originally released on tape, this remastered version features two additional
unreleased tracks and a booklet with accompanying texts for all tracks. "This
music should be engaged with caution and it should be regarded as a series of
conditioned technomantical experiments."

THE JEREMY BAMBER TAPES ARCHIVE FINALLY ONLINE!
Founded in 1990 as an outlet for the various projects of Georg Sieger
and Mik@: The Heisenberg Experiment, Dachau Lustknaben, Georg Sieger and Sheba
Wore No Nylons. Later other artists were added. The JBT Archive releases include
re-releases of tapes (often with bonus tracks) and until now unreleased material
from the vault. All tracks have been carefully demastered to preserve the tape
feeling.

you can hear the complete recordings of Sheba Wore No Nylons, a highly experimental
project, influenced by Krautrock, Musique Concrete, Dada and early Industrial.
All four tape-albums have been expanded with bonus tracks. JBT main artists,
Dachau Lustknaben, a clearly Whitehouse influenced band with a pop appeal, are
featured with several re-releases (all with bonus tracks) plus full-length recordings
of their four live aktions (all unreleased). Georg Sieger's "Ora et Labora"
trilogy is finally completed and The Heisenberg Experiment sees more than 10
unreleased albums, including the complete "4 Elemente" and "Natura Pertubata"
works.
The legendary "Contacts" compilation series will be featured in the second wave
of the archival flood. All in all more than 40 hours of unreleased material.

Time
has come to hit back, so we teamed up with Carbon 12 Records to complete the
trinity of the [R]eVOLUTIOn!
In the global state, economies, politics and peoples combine in transnationalism
and what occurs in one country’s system ripples through the rest of the world,
often with tragic consequences. The audacity of those in power, coupled with
the desire to control and manipulate, has led to the chain of events currently
striking across the globe.
But this came as no surprise to Epoch, which chronicled the path to today’s
crisis with the 2013 album “Purity & Revolution,” featuring the power hungry
and those who warned in their own historical words, set to the backdrop of industrial
militaristic machine music. An anthem to the corrupt nature of politics and
economics, “Purity” displayed a range of style and instrumentation from subtle
neo-folk acoustic guitar, to powerful symphonic martial arrangements, to driving
and distorted guitars.
From this album, a ripple effect has been generated, first with Carbon 12 Records
releasing the remix Limited Edition CDr, “[R]evolution,” featuring a diverse
and global range of artists to remix tracks from “Purity & Revolution.” And
if this was not enough, German troublemaker VUZ Records, thru it’s imprint Basket’s
Kitten, immersed even deeper into the abysses of sonic warfare and commissioned
four tonal deconstructions from fellow minds If, Bwana (USA), dE/mutE (Germany),
Freiband (Netherlands) and N.fra (Germany).
If,
Bwana opens the little pest of a 3” tall CDr featuring four tracks - each inch
more annoying than the other, with a dark tribute to the leaders of the past.
dE/mutE reveals his relaxed, nevertheless sinister face with a more ambient
approach, followed by the Dutch soundtwister Freiband tearing apart the original
and leaving an acoustic skeleton. This tonal torture is finished off by N.fra
from Germany, a very old project with a new guise, delivering a slow paced rhythm'n'drone
piece of... well, can we still call it music?

Originally appearing as one of the first Arts Industria releases on cassette
in 1993 and later on the VUZ records (Duisburg, Germany) split CD in 1995, Epoch
has returned after a long hiatus with more martial-driven industrial, in an
era when we need it the most.
While owing to such genres as martial industrial, EBM, neo-folk, techno and
other intertwined aspects of industrial music culture, Epoch manages to work
bits and pieces into a cohesive sound with underlying politics. And although
the martial genre hasn't really penetrated American musical subculture, the
growing awakening of US citizens to their own political system and the American
affect on the rest of the world makes Epoch's re-appearance in the US all that
more timely.
